We can happily do any type of auction (other than real estate) and specialize in those listed below. Additionally, we are always interested in any type of collection, large or small. Like many, we love selling quality furniture from all eras but also glassware, pottery and other “smalls”. We are particularly interested in early American firearms such as Winchester, Colt, Stevens, and Remington, along with American made fishing tackle of all types. In addition to selling your items at auction, we’ll normally make you an offer if that is your preference.
Estate Auction: An estate auction is by far the most common. It usually occurs when an individual’s personal property needs to be converted into cash for any number of reasons. The estate auction is extremely popular because of the wide variety of merchandise available. Depending on the size, an estate auction can last from a couple of hours to several days.
Antique Auction: Of course, as auctioneers, we love to do antique auctions of every genre because each item sold usually fetches a good price. Antiques are loosely defined here as being any desirable items 100 or more years old.
Business Liquidations: When a business closes, an auction is a great way to sell the remaining inventory. This is one of the few occasions where we are required to add sales tax to the sale. But, these are win/win events for the seller, buyer, and auctioneer and we enjoy facilitating them when the need arises!
Charity Auction: A charity auction is a great way for an organization or group to raise money for a good cause. Depending on availability, we are very willing to donate our time and resources. Please contact us if we can help.
Appraisals: Arnie is a certified personal property appraiser and holds membership in the Certified Appraisers’ Guild of America. We offer appraisals on individual items, collections, or complete estates.
